December 1: World AIDS Day

Nowadays, it is difficult to find someone who has not heard of the HIV virus and AIDS, which follows from it. Many people even know that December 1st is World AIDS Day, a day when many people show solidarity by wearing a red ribbon, which is the official symbol of December 1st. Also this year, the members of the Virus project, working under the auspices of the Association of Medical Students of Slovenia, will organize a public awareness campaign about AIDS on December 1, which this year will be held under the slogan "Do you know your status?"

The focus of this year's campaign will be on promoting active human testing, who could be exposed to the infection. They want to inform individuals about when and where it takes place anonymous testing, with which they can check their disease status, with which possible infection could be detected in time and, as a result, appropriate action was taken.


At the stands that will be on Kongressni trg and the main bus station in Ljubljana, will be handing out condoms and red ribbons, and visitors will also be able to talk to members of the project. As in previous years, they will also be considered passers-by many awards.
