Danilo – inn & wine shop: an inn with tradition

On September 1, 2016, after months of renovation and preparations, the Danilo inn and wine bar reopened its doors. The new, renovated inn was taken over by Nina and Gašper Čarman – sister and brother, who are proudly continuing the successful family tradition for the third generation. Danilo Inn is special and different, but homely. Old dishes are prepared in a modern way, and grandmothers' familiar recipes are masterfully transformed with the knowledge of their mother, master chef Vesna Čarman. Danilo - tavern & wine bar is Gorenje's representative in the elite club Jeunes restaurateurs d'Europe. It preserves the values of traditional home cooking and local ingredients, but at the same time promises us that every plate will be prepared with creativity and new flavors.

In addition to the already known Danilova offers à la carte were also added to the menu weekly lunches of excellent homemade dishes (homemade beef and mushroom soup, ricet, sarme...). They also understand that sometimes there is unfortunately not much time left for a quality meal, which is why you are also in the inn a bar – room for small snacks, a quick and tasty plate pasta, chicken salad or homemade cold cuts. For all those with a little more time and the desire to taste a variety of delicacies, they have prepared two tasting menus: 4-stroke and 8-course menu.

In addition to the rich menu, there is also a novelty and specialty of Danilo wine shop. It awaits us on the wine list more than five hundred carefully selected wines – from house wine Gašper to special series of the best foreign and domestic winemakers. All wines are available by the glass at Danilo, but you can also buy a bottle.

In the Danilo inn & wine shop, two separate rooms are also provided for closed companies (up to 11 people) and larger groups, for which they adapt the menu and fulfill our wishes by agreement.
They want to preserve in the renovated inn firmly anchored values of home cooking and local ingredients, but at the same time they promise that each plate will be prepared with creativity and new tastes, which will spoil our taste buds.
