Nike and Hyperice have introduced the Air Zoom Hyperslide regeneration slides, which combine cushioning, heating, and vibration massage. Because apparently even resting is no longer left to chance.
Sports recovery used to mean stretching, a cold shower, and some optimistic lounging on the couch. Today, it's much more sophisticated. Nike and Hyperice have introduced Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, technologically advanced slippers designed to relax your feet after training, racing, traveling, or just one of those days when the number of steps taken becomes almost a personal insult.

The new model combines Nike's expertise in athletic footwear development with Hyperice's regeneration technology, resulting in a slip-on that not only offers a comfortable sole, but also targeted warmth and vibration.
In other words: foot wellness that you can wear.

Regeneration doesn't end in the dressing room
Nike and Hyperice believe that athletic performance is not limited to training or competition time alone. Results are also influenced by sleep, nutrition, stress management, and, above all, the quality of regeneration.
As sports schedules become more intense, travel more frequent, and the boundaries between training and everyday life become increasingly blurred, athletes are looking for solutions that they can use without special preparation. After a hard workout, no one wants to assemble a device, study a 46-page manual, and obtain an unofficial physiotherapy certificate.

The Air Zoom Hyperslide is designed as a simple, portable and wearable solution. The user simply puts it on, activates the desired program and begins a 15-minute regeneration cycle.

The basis of the slippers is represented by low sole with full-length Air Zoom technology, which provides soft, responsive cushioning. The feel is supposed to be comfortable but not overly soft, so the slippers remain usable even while walking.
The real technological trick is hidden in the adjustable top strap. It has a removable magnetic module built into it. Hyperslide Pod, which creates heat and vibrations on the top of the foot.

The combination is designed to reduce tension, relax tired feet and support daily regeneration. The heat helps create a pleasant feeling of relaxation, while the vibrations provide a massage effect. Meanwhile, the Air Zoom sole does the more classic part of the job: making sure every step is comfortable enough, even when your feet officially don't want to negotiate anymore after an intense day.
Three heat levels and three vibration levels
Hyperslide Pod offers three heating levels, with the highest temperature reaching approximately 47 degrees Celsius. They are also available three vibration levels, so the user can adjust the intensity to their liking.
Each program lasts 15 minutes. Settings can be controlled directly using the buttons on the module or via the app Hyperice App.

This design allows for a variety of uses: after training in the locker room, while traveling, at home in front of the TV, or while waiting for the next sports event. Regeneration is no longer necessarily a separate ritual, but can be incorporated into the normal daily rhythm.
"Athletes leave everything on the field, so the approach to regeneration must be at the same level," he said at the presentation. Tobie Hatfield, senior director of athlete innovation at Nike. According to him, they wanted to create a product that starts working immediately after being turned on, helping the user feel relaxed and ready to take on new challenges.

Professional and recreational athletes participated in the development
Nike and Hyperice gathered feedback from both professional and everyday athletes during development. Among the most prominent benefits, users mentioned the combination of cushioning, warmth and vibration, and the speed with which the slippers create a sense of relaxation.
Among the athletes who have tried the product is a football player Virgil van Dijk.
"The combination of technologies stands out. The warmth and vibrations of the Hyperica help my feet regenerate, while the Nike Air Zoom cushioning provides exceptional comfort," said the Dutch international.

Of course, professional football players put a little more strain on their feet than most people who do their biggest daily sprint against closing elevator doors. However, the product is intended for a wider range of users, not just top athletes.
Nike has long summed up its philosophy with the thought: If you have a body, you are an athlete. The Air Zoom Hyperslide extends this idea to regeneration.
The second result of the collaboration between Nike and Hyperice
The Air Zoom Hyperslide is the second major product to emerge from the partnership between the two companies. The brands previously introduced the Air Zoom Hyperslide system. Nike x Hyperice Hyperboot, regeneration footwear with advanced heating and compression technologies.
The new slippers represent a more compact and everyday version of the same thinking: regeneration technology should not be limited to physiotherapy centers, professional dressing rooms or large devices, but should become simple enough for the user to take with them.

“Our partnership with Nike is based on a shared commitment to innovation for athletes,” said Anthony Katz, founder of Hyperice. According to him, with the Air Zoom Hyperslide model, they want to bring advanced regeneration closer to more people and help them recover more thoughtfully after exertion.
Are these still flip-flops?
At first glance, yes. The Air Zoom Hyperslide maintains the recognizable, simple silhouette of a sports slip-on. But the removable module, heating, vibration massage, app connection, and Air Zoom sole put it in a completely different category.
It's a product that blurs the line between athletic footwear, wearable technology, and recovery aid. It may not replace quality sleep, proper nutrition, or professional physiotherapy—nor will it miraculously fix all the effects of overtraining—but it can offer a practical way to relax tired feet.
The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide will be from September 29 available in selected markets via websites nike.com and hyperice.com and at selected retailers around the world.
In an era where watches track sleep, rings track fitness, and apps remind us to breathe more deeply, it was only a matter of time before regenerative slippers were a thing of the past. The next step? Maybe sports socks that book massages themselves.
