Photo: envato

A chocolate dessert that no one will defend, as it has a completely light structure and wins you over from the first bite.

The word mousse comes from the French dictionary and means foam, and that's exactly what this dessert is - foamy and light.

In order to get the best possible mousse, it is essential to use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the mousse and you'll enjoy every bite.

Ingredients

  • 10 pieces of Oreo cookies
  • 45 g of butter
  • Filling:
  • 200 g of chocolate
  • 380 ml of sweet cream
  • Frosting:
  • 80 ml of sweet cream
  • 100 g of chocolate

Directions

  1. Grind Oreo cookies in a blender, then mix them with melted butter to get a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Put the mixture into small round molds and flatten it nicely.
  3. For the filling, cover the chocolate with 80 milliliters of sweet cream, then melt it in a steamer or microwave oven.
  4. Beat the remaining sweet cream until you get stiff whipped cream, then add it to the chocolate and mix until you get a uniform cream.
  5. Arrange the filling in the molds. Place in the freezer for an hour to harden nicely.
  6. For the glaze, melt the chocolate again together with the sweet cream. Let it cool at room temperature, then pour it over the mousse.
  7. Leave it in the fridge for half an hour to harden nicely.
  8. Tip: instead of preparing with a mold, you can also prepare the mousse in a glass jar.
