2,000 men and women took part in the research, and they revealed what they most often lie about when it comes to sex.
What do you most often lie about when talking about your sex life? When the conversation turns to sex, some people "add" a little, others "take away", and everyone wants to look as good as possible in the eyes of the interlocutor. Some of these lies are harmless, some can do more harm than good, but the fact is, you're not the only one who isn't telling the truth about your sex life!

Men most often deny cheating on their partners, while women reduce the number of sexual partners.Among all those who took part in the survey, 44 percent of men said that they covered up fence-jumping from previous relationships in front of their new partner, because they were afraid that it would turn her off. More than half of women (52 percent) admitted that they had honestly reduced the number of their previous sexual experiences.
Illicit Encounters' PR representative, Christian Grant, said both sexes lie about sex, but it's very interesting to see how different these lies are. "While women tend to reduce the number of their partners, men like to increase it. Women also lie about infidelity, but not as often as men, but that does not mean they are more faithful.”
What can we learn from this?
Research suggests that it is the taboo of the number of sexual partners in women still alive, while men continue to be celebrated for all their sexual exploits. Moreover, it is obvious that people we are not the most reconciled to the reality of our sex life - rather than trusting our partner with what is weighing on us, we lie to him. This is worrying. Isn't it right that we stand behind our actions and our past without being ashamed of it? Why do we lie to protect our partner's ego, why do we still promote gender stereotypes, why do we erase our "shameless" actions?
Perhaps we really stress a lot, but communication is really key. If we are not satisfied in bed, we can speak up without shame and together with our partner we will provide pleasure. If we cheated in the past, let's work out the reasons, which led us to this. This is the only way we can ensure that this does not happen again. And let's stop pretending that we don't masturbate, that we don't watch pornography and that we don't fantasize about other people! Don't worry, this is completely normal.
