Carnival days in Ljubljana are marked every year by the Dragon Carnival (2019), which will also this year offer a carnival procession and an entertainment program. 58. Kurentovanje will turn Ptuj into the Slovenian ethnographic capital between February 2 and 13. During the 11 days of the international carnival festival, more than 70 events will take place, together with more than 100 events in the vicinity of Ptuj. Around 6,000 characters and masks will be presented at the central parades and displays.
