Why are your feet always cold, even if you wear warm socks?

Cold feet are a problem known to many people, especially in winter. The reasons can be completely innocent, for example low temperatures, but sometimes they can indicate circulation problems or other health problems.

Fortunately, there are simple tricks you can use at home to improve the thermal comfort of your feet.

Warm foot bath

One of the fastest solutions for warming up is a warm bath for the feet. Prepare it with simple ingredients that you have at home.

Bath with sea salt and ginger: Add three tablespoons of sea salt and one teaspoon of freshly grated ginger to a bowl of hot water. Soak your feet for 15 minutes.

Bath with essential oils: Add a few drops of cinnamon or lavender oil for extra relaxation and warmth.

Massage for better circulation

Foot massage helps improve blood flow and quickly warms cold feet. Use coconut, olive or almond oil and massage in a circular motion from toes to heels. Focus on the reflex points as you can further stimulate the body.

Choose the right socks

Natural materials, such as wool and cotton, are a key factor in keeping warm. Merino wool is particularly effective as it provides thermoregulation. Avoid synthetic materials that increase sweating and cooling of the feet.

Simple warm-up exercises

Take care of your feet

Proper care skin improves circulation and prevents drying, which can worsen the feeling of cold. Use a sea salt and olive oil scrub followed by a rich moisturizer.

Teas for internal warming

Hot drinks are a wonderful way to warm yourself up.

Ginger tea: Pour hot water over freshly grated ginger and add honey.

Cinnamon tea: Add a cinnamon stick to boiling water, let it stand and enjoy the aromatic drink.
