AM-RB 001: Aston Martin and Red Bull with a hypercar that leaves behind Formula 1!

Hyper car AM-RB 00

The British manufacturer of luxury cars Aston Martin and the Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing have joined forces and presented a hypercar with the designation AM-RB 001, which is so fast that even Formula 1 can't cope! Red Bull may not give cars wings, but the naturally aspirated 1000bhp V12 engine contributed by Aston Martin will come pretty close. You will definitely fly down the road with it!

Aston Martin and the Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing presented a two-seater hypercar AM-RB 001, for which four million euros will have to be deducted! As Aston Martin boss Andy Palmer revealed at the presentation at the Gaydon factory in England (where they will also be made), they will make between 99 and 150 vehicles, suitable for driving on roads, and 25 will be reserved only for racing tracks. Last but not least, he boasts with the driving characteristics of the best racing cars in Le Mans, as claimed by Red Bull's head of engineering and design in F1, Adrian Newey.

Because they wanted to keep low mass (under one ton), unlike Ferrari and McLaren, they didn't equip their hypercar with a hybrid system, so it's bathed in carbon fiber and other lightweight materials. It is powered by Aston Martin's naturally aspirated V12 engine, which is said to have just 1000 hp (773 kW), and the weight-to-power ratio is said to be 1 : 1 (as in Koenigsegg One:1). What about acceleration? From 0 to 100 km/h it will shoot out in less than two seconds, and we will be able to chase him up to 322 km/h. It will have to wait until the year 2019.
