Bluejay (blue jay) is basically a bird, and in this case we are talking about a smart car holder for the phone, the first of its kind, which is also a driver's assistant. The innovative phone holder in the car is also the result of Slovenian know-how. More precisely, the New Zealand company The Kiwi Factory is behind it. A smart holder that improves the driving experience is currently being presented on Kickstarter, where you can order it for as little as 70 euros.
Smart phone car holder Bluejay is intended for safer use of the phone while driving, which this type of carrier brings, but despite safety warnings about the dangers of using the phone in hand while driving, many drivers have still not taken it for granted. With the arrival of the partly Slovenian Bluejay, this is about to change. It was with this in mind that this holder was created, which is much more than just that. It has the corresponding application with preset messages that can be used in the shortest possible time and at the most safe way respond to messages or make a call.
There is also a system recognition of accidents, which automatically makes a call or sends a message to a previously specified number and thereby informs the "chosen one" about the event. There are also enlarged icons for easier and faster activation of navigation, changing music (connects to services such as Spotify and Pandora) etc. and the possibility to turn on the do not disturb mode, which "sticks the mouth" to the phone (read: silences calls and notifications).

Smart phone holder in the car But Bluejay doesn't stop there. It starts by itself when it is near the phone, and as a result, we and with the help of technology Bluetooth Smart and GPS it helps to locate the car if we happen to have "stocked" it. But it also works in the reverse direction and helps us find the phone. With the touch of the handle the phone will start ringing with an audio warning. It also guides us to the nearest parking space, pump, shop, restaurant... and informs us on the fly how many kilometers we can squeeze out of the fuel, when to change the oil, advises Fr tire pressure and warns about the expiry of the paid parking fee, it can also be used to communicate with other smart devices or smart homes and remotely turn on the heating, turn off the lights, etc.
The Bluejay can be installed in three places, namely with a vacuum holder on the windshield, on the fan gap or placed on a non-slip mat, that is, wherever our heart desires, and that in any car. Like a bench, the phone is held by the included magnet on the Bluejay holder metal plates, which is placed on the back of the mobile phone.
