To make the summer even more magical, this summer we think of some or even a whole set of high-quality mugs, bottles and glasses with Kilner handles, which perfect the enjoyment of homemade drinks with their iconic vintage design.
Summer is the time for carefree pleasures, when we float away on the wings of imagination with a chilled drink in one hand and a busy book in the other. It's time for picnics, when we try out new recipes for refreshing iced teas with friends and refine tried-and-tested colorful cocktail mixes. And it's also time for romantic evenings, which turn into a timeless embrace under the stars of daydreaming for two. To make the pleasures even more magical, in addition to a green terrace, balcony or garden and a filled picnic basket, this summer we think of some or even a whole set of trendy high-quality jugs, bottles and glasses with handles from a recognized brand Kilner. With its iconic vintage design, it perfects the enjoyment of homemade drinks in the comfort of our home. Kilner's giant, wide-necked jugs allow for ice and fruit chunks to be added to delicious drinks, and are the perfect choice for outdoor parties. Bottles made with a vintage touch, filled with homemade brandy or marinade, will round off this year's summer table nicely, while retro glasses with a Kilner handle will be perfect for the creative preparation of diverse and eye-pleasing smoothies, frappes and cocktails, as well as other refreshing drinks. And another summer tip: In Kilner retro glasses, we will surprise a select group this summer and serve a mojito inspired by the refreshing mojito.
Mojita recipe
Ingridients:
- 10g (5 tsp) Whittard of Chelsea Wake Up Tea
- 200 ml of plain water
- 8 organic limes, cut into eighths
- 12 mint leaves
- 50 ml Whittard of Chelsea natural caramel flavoring (or 8 tablespoons of brown sugar)
- crushed ice
- 200 ml of mineral water
Instructions:
Boil water, make tea for awakening and cool it well. Pour tea into a mug, add lime, mint and caramel flavoring or sugar. Use a long spoon to press against the bottom of the mug to release the flavor. Fill the pitcher two-thirds full with ice. Add mineral water, mix a little and serve.
And also... for the "adult" version of the mojito, add 100 milliliters of white rum and an additional 100 milliliters of mineral water. Cheers!
