For official the best wine in the world was at the wine competition Decanter World Wine Awards 2016 declared wine La Moneda Reserva, a red wine of the Malbec variety, which is one of the Bordeaux varieties (in addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc).
