In the fall, Hyundai will offer buyers a completely new i20, which, in addition to larger dimensions, will also have a more mature appearance, and will also offer passengers more space and new content. Among the latter, it is worth mentioning equipment that is not often seen in this segment, such as a panoramic sunroof, a reversing camera and LED lights.
Even with the new generation of one of its best-selling models in the region, Hyundai puts the fact that it is designed and developed in Europe namely in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
The new i20 is placed on a new platform, in length but it did pulled over borders four meters, as the meter in length now shows 4035 millimeters. The wheelbase was stretched to 2,570 millimeters, which is 45 mm more than the predecessor. Hyundai claims there is room for five adults. Trunk according to the new measures 326 liters, which means that it is gained 31 liters or a good tithe.
In addition to the larger dimensions, they will also mark the newcomer black C-pillar, which gives the impression of a floating roof, and among the comfort options there will also be surprisingly prestigious equipment accessories for the B-segment, such as: panoramic sunroof, reverse camera and front and back LED lights. The standard equipment will include a height-adjustable driver's seat, a central armrest, an audio device with AUX-USB connections, bluetooth, etc. In the case of better-stocked equipment versions, the start&stop system is also available, smart key and a key to start the vehicle, navigation and leather upholstery.
The range of engines is not yet known, but it is expected that in addition to the 1.0-liter three- and 1.2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engines, both known from the i10 model, there will also be a new 1.4 liter diesel engine with 90 hp and sports N performance version.
