When we think of Ikea's furniture and cubes Lego, the first associations that "come to mind" are easy folding, endless possibilities of combination and creative playfulness. Claire Healy and Sean Corder with their project, which is a combination of Ikea furniture and the legendary Lego bricks, wanted to highlight these similarities and blur the lines between art and practicality. We built and furnished our fantasy homes with Lego blocks as children, and we furnish apartments with Ikea furniture as adults. But why not keep some of the child in you and combine the two creative worlds?
