A new Guinness Book of Records has been published with the year 2017. Among the 4,000 new records that have further thickened this bible of records (from 1955 to the present, more than 136 million copies have been sold), there were also seven Slovenian achievements. Among other things, we now officially own the chocolate record with the largest area, the record for the longest distance traveled on a stationary bike, and the indoor 800 meter run record.
Guinness Book of Records (2017) is richer for 4000 new records, of which it is seven Slovenian. The red thread of the 62nd edition of the record-keeping authority, which was also released these days in Slovenian, is the universe or records associated with them. In it you will find the contributions of astronauts such as Buzz Aldrin, Chris Hadfield and Al Worden, and NASA Director Charlie Bolden, space scientist Dr. Alan Stern and the American rock band OK Go, who shot the video in a reduced gravity environment.
The Guinness Book of World Records 2017 includes 13 chapters, which represent a wide range of topics – from space exploration to the latest sporting achievements. Among other things, the book pokes its nose into the history of groundbreaking journeys from the 16th century to the present day and is fascinated by Disney animations. Want to know which record you can break? There is a special chapter for this, just like there is a chapter about records that you are advised not to break!
The new Guinness Book of Records includes new incredibles records from the most popular fields. One of these is the most subscribers to YouTubers Unpacking channel (FunToyzCollector has more than 6.9 million subscribers), and the cartoon with the most Nickelodeon awards as chosen by children (record Spongebob Squarepants there are 13 of them). By the way. Two pages of records, however, are tied with Disney alone! Of course, no Guinness Book of Records goes without stunning photos and neither will the 62nd edition. These show the record holders from the largest to the smallest, the fastest... Among the latest is the most tattooed pensioner who has 91.5 percent of the body covered with tattoos. Did you know that the record for the most pirated TV series still holds? Game of Thrones with 14.4 million illegal downloads per episode?
