In the world of blogging, numbers matter a lot. In particular, as far as the number of likes and followers on all social networks related to the blog/blogger is concerned. If you blog or just want more followers on Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat, read on…
A blogger Marianna Hewitt, who creates a blog LifeWithMe.com, for Harpersbazaar explores the world of fashion blogging and examines what photos, posts and ways to share them result in more likes, followers and business. So let's see how we should work on different platforms - Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat - to get as many followers as possible...
At Instagram it's all about quality content. It must first and foremost be aesthetic, clear and attractive. A blogger must develop a recognizable aesthetic on Instagram and provide the follower with even more of what they have shown until the moment they press the button "follow". Some bloggers are known for saturated and melancholic posts, while others like to travel the world and photograph beautiful nature and colorful cities. Develop your own style and then be sure to stick to it. Always tag everything you're wearing, as this will get bigger brands to share your photo and get you even more followers. Cooperation is also important with Instagram - comment, like, praise, socialize and meet new, like-minded people. Of course, don't forget to share your posts on all other social networks as well.
Snapchat
Snapchat is a fairly new application whose popularity is growing extremely fast. The platform is a great way to have fun and share your fashion and beauty looks. Snapchat provides insight into the backgrounds of shoots, preparations, fashion shows and other events from the life of fashion bloggers. Snapchat allows us to share a large number of posts per day - unlike Instagram, where quality is important rather than quantity, it's the other way around here, as we can use Snapchat to tell the whole (fashion) story. Let your Instagram followers know that there's a lot more content to come on Snapchat with an engaging photo, and trust that they'll follow you from one network to another. Snapchat is attractive because it works much more personally, and through it you can even organize a "Q&A" where you answer questions to your followers.
If you want more followers on Twitter participate, participate, participate. Over Twitter share all posts from other social networks, comment on others' opinions, share interesting articles, answer questions, retweet, live tweet from fashion shows, tag and share links to fashion brands.
