Even 35 years later, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class remains the concept of a luxury and powerful SUV. A living legend is probably even more popular today than ever before. Therefore, Mercedes-Benz recently revealed a bunch of innovations that the series will experience. Once again, the exterior was left almost untouched, because "why fix something that's not broken", as the Americans would say, so the big changes took place under the shell, where all the latest achievements of the Bavarian engineers are hidden.

Mercedes-Benz G-Class so he went "under the knife" again to smooth out some of his "wrinkles". Most of his luxury off-road vehicles namely, it has undergone changes, which are more of a character (read mechanical) than of an aesthetic nature. Probably the most significant improvement came to the model G500, who received a new 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine, which also drives the concept G500 4×4². Keeps under the hood 422 horsepower (310 kW) and 610 Nm of torque. In practice, this means acceleration 5.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

Model G350d has eaten some brandy in the meantime, as his horsepower instead of 210 (155 kW) now counts 245 horses (180 kW), and its torque was increased from 540 to 600 Nm. This takes up to 100 km/h 8.9 seconds. In terms of appearance, they both had their lips repaired (read bumpers), and in addition they got AMG rims in the color of the vehicle. She also received cosmetic corrections instrumental record, and both now also have a built-in Eco start/stop system, which contributes to lower fuel consumption.

The models also received additional "muscles". AMG G 63 now boasts 571 horses (420 kW), which is 27 or 20 more than before, and 760 Nm of torque. Its "superior" G 65, however, now produces 630 horses (450 kW) and has 1000 Nm of torque.
At the same time, Mercedes-Benz presented a new special model AMG Edition 463, which introduces a distinct into the G class sporty look. Its interior is decorated with, among other things, a two-tone instrument panel, two-tone leather seats and many touches carbon fiber.
