Mercedes-Benz is increasing its presence in niche segments. They did not want to let the pick-up segment out of their hands and thus brought the X class to the market, which is currently the most luxurious pick-up on the Slovenian market. The X-Class is characterized by a striking design, good driving characteristics, safety systems and Mercedes-Benz comfort.
In numbers Mercedes-Benz X-Class it proves that it is capable of taking on challenging terrain and is not just an urban lipstick. 30.1° is the entry angle at the front, 49° is the maximum lean angle and 22° is the overhang angle. The rear axle is 221mm off the ground, and the depth of water that the X can travel is 600 mm. Since the caisson is one of the most important things in a pick-up, here are some of its capabilities. The longest length is 1,587 mm, width 1,560 mm and height 474 mm. The maximum load capacity of the caisson is 1,037 kilograms. The Mercedes-Benz X can tow cargo weighing up to 3,500 kilograms.
The Mercedes-Benz X is adapted to demanding terrain, as it has rigid slatted chassis made of high-quality steel. It helps him a lot in overcoming the terrain four-wheel drive 4MATIC, which enables 3 ways of use and you can turn on or off up to 100 km/h. In very difficult off-road conditions, the so-called "Low” mode of four-wheel drive, which with the help of mechanical locks of the rear differential rescue the car from the mud or snowdrift.
Mercedes-Benz X-Class has available 3 diesel engines. The most basic X 220 d has 163 horsepower and 6-speed manual transmission. X 250 d has 190 horsepower and 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed automatic transmission. Both engines can be combined with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive, as they operate in 4 × 2 mode most of the time, and in 4 × 4 mode when necessary, when the terrain requires it. From mid-2018 will still be available X 350 d engine, with 2.987 liters volume, 258 horsepower and permanent four-wheel drive. He will have 7G-TRONIC Plus 7-speed automatic gearbox.

The retail ticket to the world of Class X is 36,130 euros, while the price is X 250 d 4MATIC 39,540 euros. There is an additional charge for PROGRESSIVE equipment another 4,038 euros, and for POWER equipment 9,260 euros. Because the Mercedes-Benz X-Class register as a light commercial vehicle, may legal entities from the mentioned retail prices they also deduct tax.
