Mercedes-Benz teased us with the presentation of the X-class concept at the end of last year, and now they have officially presented us with their latest acquisition. Judging by the first reactions, the X-Class will be an instant hit, and with this model, Mercedes-Benz is introducing the word premium to the pick-up segment.
For exterior we can safely say that it is completely in style Mercedes-Benz, especially if we look at the front of their cars SUV. They added some typical ones elements pick-up, such as protective "bar" on the front part and pronounced side sills, which are used as steps for easier entry and exit from the vehicle. To differentiate yourself from others, you class X offers a choice several types of caisson linings, and the back of the car has a typical pick-up look. X is built on the same platform as Nissan Navara, and the upcoming one will be based on the same basis Renault Alaskan. With this, they introduced fresh wind into the pick-up segment, which will impress anyone who needs such a vehicle and is willing to pay for additional luxury. The interior will have all the familiar "gadgets" and will offer enough space for five passengers.
With a length slightly over five meters and width close two is class X impressive, and its off-road capabilities are even more impressive. The distance from the ground is 202 mm, and the entrance angle 20.4 °, which means that the Mercedes-Benz X is ahead of many competitors. When it arrives, the X-Class will have a Mercedes built-in four-wheel drive 4MATIC with a rear differential lock and reduction gear, however, the manufacturer claims that it will be available next year even more sophisticated four-wheel drive for even more pleasure in off-road driving. There are two gearboxes available, manual 6-speed or 7-speed automatic.
