We're kicking off a week of discovering the world of imaginative interior design from the seven web giants Twitter, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, Dropbox and Airbnb. Aiming at the vision of investing in a relaxed working environment for the well-being of their employees, they bring unprecedented inspiration and encouragement to other companies.
If we thought Google provided an incredible variety of spaces, it did Foursquare went a step further. Namely, their New York offices are more like a unified set of the company's image, each individually, completely a world unto itself. As befits the master of "check-ins", we can walk through galactic blackness, the playfulness of vibrant colors, the classics of the 50s, dotted minimalism and even the authentic African wilderness. Everything is connected in the appearance of multi-apartment voyeurism. It's okay, in such offices we would be happy to press "check-in" every day.
