While the Fonkraft modular phone for the masses will apparently remain just a pious wish of users, since it was pulled from Indiegogo for some unknown reason in the middle of the campaign, they will still get their money's worth. A somewhat different but still affordable modular solution appeared on the market. The first-of-its-kind modular case from startup Nexpaq will be a welcome addition to any smartphone.
After the first one modular smartphone Project Ara, introduced by Google, met with a lot of approval among the people, they quickly got company. The competition introduced the phone Fonkraft, which is the possibility of changing modules offered much cheaper. Which is obviously not as easy to achieve as it seemed. The production of such a mobile phone swallows up a lot of money and requires considerable development mileage, which also has a high consumption of money. That is why they are with the company Nexpaq tackled the problem from the other end and launched modular case, which turns a normal smartphone into a modular one.
It is made on the basis of a sextet of modules, which the user changes according to wishes and needs. You can choose between dozens of different modules- temperature and humidity meter, additional battery, air quality meter, LED flashlight, external speaker and memory stick, memory card reader, external memory unit for making backup copies, hot keys, breath meter, laser and plastic pin for parts that are not currently on duty.
