The Audi A4 is the best-selling model of this German brand from Ingolstadt, which for the first time in history jointly presented a sedan and a station wagon. At first glance, the new Audi A4 hasn't changed much, but it's lighter and a bit more rugged and muscular than its predecessor. Even if it's just cosmetic fixes on the outside, there are really a lot of new things, but you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The car will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, while the official photos are already here.

"Don't change a horse that wins", the Germans probably thought when they planned it, so the new design does not bring big deviations from its predecessor, but there are the lines are sharper and the bonnet more aggressive. Fresh A4 is thus made on the basis MLB evo platform, due to which he "lost weight" by 120 kilograms and this despite the fact that it is for ped longer than "fourth child" (by 2.1 centimeters, it measures 473 cm in total), and the wheelbase has also "stretched" a bit compared to the current model and is 1.2 centimeters (282 cm) longer. He is 143 cm tall, and from hip to hip they measured 184 cm. The trunk has also grown.
But the newcomer (both station wagon and limousine version) has at its disposal "only" 15 liters more as before. Why? Because they sacrificed him even more in Ingolstadt more room for passengers' heads and legs. The dashboard and control panel got new skins, and it's also here 12.3-inch virtual display, and the tablet screen and MMI interface to manage the functions on it (possible compatibility with the Apple infotainment system CarPlay) and the steering system and seats. They are also new matrix headlights, well 3D sound system, and for an additional fee, the rear door opening function will also be available for the station wagon with a kick under the bumper.

During the summer holidays, when you will be making your way to the Croatian coast in convoys, you will want to use its assistance technology, this is a new automatic crowd control system, which will steer the vehicle at pedestrian speed without the assistance of the driver and alone followed the car in front of him. It is here to avoid traffic fines radar cruise control, which is connected to the navigation device and automatically adjusts the speed to traffic restrictions. These would otherwise be easily exceeded with a jumpy engine. Seven fresh power units with turbo technology are hiding under the hood. They offer more for less. This is for a quarter more power with a fifth less fuel consumption. Four diesels are available TDI engines and a trio TFSI gasoline units (from 148 HP/109 kW to 272 HP/200 kW).
Newcomers among them are the 1.4-liter TFSI gasoline engine with 148 horses and the most powerful version, 3.0 liter TDI V6 engine with 215 horses. He will take care of power transmission for all four-cylinder and petrol engines 6-speed manual transmission, and for picky eaters there will be an automatic one 7-speed S tronic, which will be standard on the V6 version, while the 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine will be paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro four-wheel drive. The price is not yet known, but in our country, the A4 of the fourth generation is sold from 32,000 euros.
