The BMW X2 is a brand new SUV that sits between the BMW X1 and BMW X3 models. Although the X2 is almost 8 centimeters shorter and lower than the X1, it has the same wheelbase. Due to the short overhangs and low overhangs, it has a more sporty, one could even say "trained" stance. Thanks to the front and rear LED lights, side sills and roof spoiler, the BMW X2 will have no problem standing out among the crowd of SUVs on the world market.
Interior of the new BMW X2 it's just like that superb as in other BMW models. It dominates leather, with which the entire dashboard can be covered. Everything revolves around elegance and functionality of the space. That's enough for 5 persons, which have available 470 liters luggage compartment. They are available 6.5-inch or 8.8 inch touch screen, through which we access advanced technology. Among them we find the latest lane departure warning assistant, active braking assistant and parking assistant. It is available system Connected+ plus, and you can also choose between the connection Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay.
The new BMW X2 is coming to the market in March 2018. It will have available at launch three engines. Petrol the xDrive20i engine will have 192 horsepower, diesel xDrive20d though 190 horsepower or xDrive25d s 231 horsepower. In diesel versions, there is a drive xDrivepart of the standard equipment, as is also standard 8-speed Steptronic gearbox. A petrol version of the engine is available 7-speed Steptronic gearbox with double clutch. In the first half of 2018, there will be a motor offer joined by the three-cylinder sDrive18i and four-cylinder xDrive20i, sDrive18d and xDrive18d. Gasoline engines will have both 140 and 192 horsepower, and they will have diesel representatives 150 horsepower.
In addition to the standard version of the BMW X2, special versions will also be available X2 M Sport and X2 M Sport X. These packages combine the design elements of the X family with the design elements of the BMW M sports department. There are no specific changes to the engine, but the packages have lowered chassis, 20-inch rims, stiffer suspension and a bunch of visual extras. The BMW X2 is sensibly placed among the already existing X models, which will appeal especially to those who missed or needed something on the X1 or X3 models. The BMW X2 thus offers new possibilities in this rapidly growing automotive segment.
