The current generation of Corsa is already well known to most people, after all, it has been on the market for quite a few years. Well, in order to continue to compete on an equal footing with the fierce competition of the pole class, she was given a cosmetic rejuvenation for the fall. The treatment is in the style of another Opel toddler - Adam, from which it inherited the headlights, engine mask and most of the interior.
There are also similarities on the side of the vehicle, where these tracks are floating roofs (for the three-door version), a concept that we witnessed for the first time in the smallest Opel model. At the rear, the changes are much less noticeable or visible, the new look is mainly the rear lights and the bumper, which are now most reminiscent of the back of the current measurement.
The Corsa will have its official premiere at the Paris Salon in October, yes it's about a facelift (and not about the new model) eloquently testify to the completely unchanged dimensions, which are 4 meters in length, and the wheelbase also now measures 251 cm.
Inside, the story from the outside is repeated, which means that here, too, many features and switches are similar to those of the Adam, from the latter inherited also gauges (roughly) in front of which is a completely new and uniquely designed steering wheel. The innovators put great emphasis on the use of better quality materials, richer equipment, and it also got advanced ones the IntelliLink infotainment system.
As for engines, the 2015 model year Corsa will also get a new one 1.0-liter SIDI three-cylinder turbo gasoline in versions with 66 and 85 kW respectively, and higher will be a 1.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 74 kW and several versions of the 1.3-liter CDTi.
The novelty will also mean a new six-speed manual gearbox, modified suspension and steering mechanism, and there will also be a lot of new things in the area of advanced technology, which it inherited from its larger sister models: parking assistance, system for recognizing traffic signs – Opel Eye, a security camera that prevents the possibility of collision, bi-xenon headlights and lane assist system.
