You probably won't disagree with us when we say that the battle in the smartphone market is exhausting. Many models have experienced defeat, many are still there. Although the latter seems to be the case for the latest "soldier" from the Chinese company Oppo, the Oppo R5, this thinnest smartphone in the world, measuring only 4.85 millimeters in thickness, is bursting with power despite its (excessive) thinness and will offer serious resistance to competition.
Chinese Oppo is no stranger when it comes to high-end mobile phones and once again he wanted to live up to his reputation as a commander who knows how to pick his battles. 155 grams Oppo is currently the thinnest smartphone (the first place was knocked down by the mobile Gionee Elife 5.1 with a thickness of 5.1 mm), which is so thin that it does not even have room for 3.5 mm headphone jack. It thus replaces the vocal "leash", which we are used to in the form of a wire Bluetooth 4.0 or converter for microUSB entrance.
Although there is so little of it together that you can almost see through it, it is his aluminum housing quite resistant to falls and shocks, and does not even suffer from the "iPhone 6 complex".
Thinness requires a special (innovative) cooling system with metal that liquefies even at room temperature and can effectively redistribute the heat produced by the super powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor (with a frequency of 1.5 gHZ). It may be too dry for the memory card slot microSD, and therefore has room for system memory with capacity 2GB and "embedded" memory s 16 GB. And even though it has the thinnest ribbon, and it's just skin and bones, it's extremely beautiful, not like some catwalk hanger. This is ensured by the proven design and 5.2 inch screen (13.2 cm) with resolution 1920x1080 pixels.

In addition to the memory, the operating system represents the inner beauty and intelligence Android 4.4 KitKat with a customized graphical interface Oppo ColorOS 2.0, relatively powerful battery with capacity 2000 mAh, a 13-megapixel (non-bulging, yet thin) digital camera and a 5-megapixel web conferencing camera, plus high-speed cellular connectivity 4G/LTE.
It will be available from the end of the year, but only across the pond, from where you can order it for around 400 euros.
