The things and events brought by the joyful spring cannot be counted on the fingers of two hands. From concerts under the stars to playful workshops and a wide variety of fairs - all these are sweets that will come to life under the green treetops of Tabor Park again this year, and there are also promises of some novelties brought by the opening of the park.
Park Tabor it lies almost in the heart of our capital. When we were little, we might have roller-skated or played there while our mothers were panting at the gym, but we often remember it from the second part of the movie Summer in the Shell. The nostalgia evoked by this small green oasis in the middle of Ljubljana's concrete jungle will already be there fourth year on May 17 a new memory in its history. Until September namely, in addition to novelty, it will also bring joy, new friendships, knowledge and experiences.
Although we can attend with the children two days earlier Toy exchanges, where you and your friends will be able to exchange toys, books, board games, CDs with fairy tales and cartoons and find something for your home game based on your own inspiration, this year's season of events begins with The All-Slovenian Vegetable Garden and Art Garden. While Zelemenjava is already familiar to many visitors to the Park, as we have already exchanged seeds, seedlings, crops, recipes and other vegetable inspirations over the past years, the Art Garden is something completely new this year. After the stories about Makrolab and Marko Peljhan's hydroponic garden, we will create together in the workshops own mobile kindergartens and discovered the world of charming plants.
