As part of the collaboration between the French artists Céleste Boursier-Mougenot and Smarin, the beach was created - as an art project. In fact, it is a set of modular and hybrid floating parts, whose appearance resembles groups of raw concrete blocks, which are otherwise surprisingly soft to the touch.
The materials that make up the "creature", reminiscent of coastal debris, are carefully selected. They include polyurethane foam with a smooth surface. Innovative "pillows", weighing between 10 kg and 14 kg, are made from 100% recycled materials. They are intended for both external and internal use.

The beach – as an art project will be opened later this year. Eighty-five floating parts will be placed on the shores of La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs during the Cannes Film Festival. The so-called beach "les marches" offers many possibilities; it can be turned into stairs, it is suitable for talking, relaxing, working and meetings. The discreet and very interesting design reveals the possibility of comfort.
