Because of the operating system that works based on pure steam and the refinement of blowing technology, dishes prepared in it keep the right structure, retain most of their vitamins and minerals, and their taste is therefore more intense and fuller. This is how they get steamed fish, eggs or tender chicken breast with rice and vegetables new dimensions of taste, meanwhile, the combination of steaming and baking with hot air ensures crispy loaves of bread, crumbly cookies with a heavenly taste, or caramelized onions and carrots, which will especially pamper our taste buds.
What is MultiSteam 360°?
Gorenje steam ovens use an advanced air circulation system already known from the MultiFlow 360° function. When the steam enters the cooking space through the many openings, a special fan distributes it evenly, and the dishes are especially so gentle and soft. One container of water is sufficient for the entire cooking process without interruption - that is saving time and energy, as well as the cooking results are really better.

This time we will prepare cottage cheese dumplings with plums using a combined steam oven, and we will be helped by the masterful hand of chef Binet Volčič.
Ingredients (for 4 people):
- 300 g of cottage cheese
- 60 g of melted butter
- salt
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of wheat semolina
- 100 g of white flour
- 12-16 plums
- white sugar
For the dressing:
- sugar (optional)
- allspice (optional)
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Mash the curd and mix it smoothly with the melted butter. Mix semolina, eggs and enough flour to get a smooth dough that does not stick to your hands. Knead and cover with foil and leave to rest for at least half an hour in the refrigerator. Then, on a floured surface, shape the dough into a thick sausage, cut it in half and flatten each one between floured palms. Wrap the whole plums in the flattened dough together with the pecan so that the plum juice remains in the fruit. But we have to pay attention to the foot when we eat the dumpling. Pinch the edges of the dough around the plum well and form dumplings. Place them in a baking dish with holes one next to the other and cook in a preheated steam oven at 100 degrees for about 15 minutes.
To serve, melt the butter in a pan, add the breadcrumbs and fry them until golden. Sprinkle the crumbs over the dumplings. If desired, they can be sweetened and ground pimento added.
