The Renault Talisman is a modestly designed sedan that steps into the big shoes of the Laguna. After 22 years, the latter left him with a fairly easy job, as this station wagon's reputation has grown considerably over the last period of breakdowns. Will the new model or name be Renault's talisman that will put the French car brand back on the upper mid-range sedan map and boost sales to the levels of the Laguna's golden days? Everything about the car points to this.
Renault Talisman applies to the successor to the Laguna hatchback and the "Korean" Latitude. It measures 4.85 meters in length and 1.87 meters in height, and its trunk boasts a car 608 liters volume. It has a lot in common with Espaco. They share a six- or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and 16 liter turbo petrol and diesel engines with a power range between 96 and 147 kW. Only the engine is unique TCE 150 with 150 horses (110 kilowatts).
Renault will try with the Talisman flirt with the premium segment, and its main competitors for the buyer's attention will be the VW Passat, Mazda 6, Škoda Superb, Ford Mondeom, Audi A4,... It works like a well-built athlete, a bloated and muscular cross between an Espace and a Kadjar.
