At the American bike manufacturer Vela, they want to make our daily struggle with city transportation easier. Namely, they made an advanced electric bicycle with a retro look, which they also presented on Kickstarter.
The bicycle is considered to be the first means of personal transportation and was here even before the first prototype car was developed. However, the automotive industry develops much faster than the technology and appearance of bicycles. Vela is a bicycle manufacturer that combines both - retro looks and the latest technology. Their city electric bike offers the user exceptional comfort and top quality, as it is characterized by wider tires, a steel frame, a 370W lithium-ion battery and LED front lights. But that's not all, as the bike offers USB charging, a modern mechanism that enables automatic adjustment of the driving effort depending on the demanding terrain, and a mechanism that detects the theft of the bike and communicates its location via a mobile application. Vela weighs 19 kilos and is currently fundraising on Kickstarter.
