It may seem at first glance that the Klokers Klok-01 wristwatch is just a "cacophony" of numbers, but in reality, this quartz watch tells us the time quite simply, albeit unusually. Inspired by a logarithmic calculator, it uses three rotating dials to show the exact time with a magnifying glass to help readability.
We have wristwatches and then we have Wristwatches. Brand wristwatch Klokers (new player on the market) Klok-01, which boasts three concentric dials, in case you haven't figured it out, falls into that second category of watch. She found inspiration in mathematics, namely in sliding ruler (a gadget worth its weight in gold before the invention of calculators in the 1970s). Its 44 mm dial is therefore logical full of numbers, but nevertheless it is well "readable", which means that despite the apparent complexity, it is not difficult to extract the exact time. Three concentric circles represent hours, minutes and seconds (just as the hands do otherwise), and the exact time is below magnifying glass it is printed in the place where clocks usually show noon or midnight. Simple!
Hour with quartz movement (Ronda Quartz) won't exactly be cheap, but it won't be too expensive either. She will start looking for the first wrists in September on Kickstarter where she will collect limited orders (600 pieces) after (calculated) 175 euros, and after this quantity sold, the price will jump to 350 euros.
