What we really want from a good series are surprises, unpredictable plot twists and turns, and above-average acting that together literally keep us glued to the screen. We have prepared a list of series that will completely captivate you. Anything but boring!
Carnivàle (September 7, 2003–March 27, 2005)
Northwest America, 1934. 18-year-old outcast Ben Hawkins runs into the Carnivàle circus. The caravan includes a gypsy named Sofia who reads tarot cards, her paralyzed mother who has the ability to telekinesis, a blind professor Lodz who can read minds, a bearded woman named Lila, Siamese twins, snake charmer Ruthie, a dwarf superintendent and circus owner Samson who has a definite plan for Ben.
Wild Palms (May 16, 1993 - May 20, 1993)
Los Angeles, the future. Harry Wyckoff works for a television channel that plans to put virtual reality technology into every home in America and around the world. This is supposed to turn ordinary TV shows into three-dimensional holographic projections. Harry has a successful career and enjoys wealth and power. It soon turns out that Harry is actually caught up in bloody intrigue and the use of psychoactive drugs.
Humans (June 14, 2016–)
The story takes place in a parallel universe, where a new type of technology is extremely popular - advanced robot assistants that are almost identical to humans on the outside. One of these is assigned to a suburban family who soon discover that living with a robot can have dire consequences.
Fringe (On the Edge of Science, 9 September 2008 - 18 January 2013)
FBI agent Olivia Dunham works with scientists on specific criminal cases that human knowledge cannot yet fully explain. With each new season, the story of the series becomes richer and richer, and the viewer witnesses more and more twists and turns.
Sense8 (June 5, 2015–)
The Sense8 series comes from the hands of directors Lana and Lilly Wachowski, who are also responsible for the Matrix trilogy. This time they tell another interesting and very complicated story. Groups of people in different countries are somehow psychically connected to each other and soon become targets of those who want to threaten the world order.

11.22.63 (February 15, 2016 - April 4, 2016)
11.22.63 is considered one of the most successful film adaptations of the book written by the king of horror, Stephen King. The author is best known for his horror novels, and this series is a mystery thriller with elements of fantasy. It's not scary, but it's undeniably fun. An English teacher is sent back in time to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
The Booth at the End (27 August 2010–)
The psychological thriller tells the story of a mysterious individual who sits in the corner of a diner, and people flock to him for help in making their dreams come true. A hopeless father of a sick child, a woman who wants to be beautiful, an artist looking for inspiration - each person has only one desire, for which he must pay a certain price. In order to achieve what they want, they have to give up their moral values.
Orphan Black (March 30, 2013-)
Sarah is an orphan who never received the love and care of her parents, and it is clear to her that she does not need anyone in her life. One day she is marked by a tragic event: Sarah witnesses the suicide of a young woman. The girl bears a striking resemblance to Sarah, so she decides to assume her identity.
Wayward Pines (May 14, 2015–)
Secret agent Ethan Burke arrives in a small town in Idaho to find two missing FBI agents. Ethan tries to unravel the events, but things keep getting weirder. No one can escape from the city. What secrets does the city hide?
The Leftovers (June 29, 2014–)
Only a small group of people remain in the small town of Mapleton. They are forced to rebuild their lives after the sudden and mysterious disappearance of more than 100 million people. They want to find out what happened - some are seeking God, others are trying to cause harm.
