The Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta completed a unique project this year: they built a hotel right on top of a tree. Treehotel, a hotel in a tree in Sweden, is built 10 meters above the ground and is divided into six individual units. The hotel is distinguished by a subtle combination of traditional Nordic architecture and the latest technology.
Treehose, a hotel in a tree in Sweden of the Norwegian architectural office Snøhetta, is a top destination for anyone who wants to see in the embrace of peaceful nature the magnificent northern lights. Six cabins, which make up the hotel, are built 10 meters above the ground, in the safe embrace of pine trees.

He reigns in the middle network, which allows sleeping under the starry sky or peaceful meditation in nature. The boundaries between the buildings and the forest are blurred, as much as possible by the dominant element glasses. So the visitor has all the time feeling the presence of nature. Stairs lead up to the building, and a small elevator takes care of luggage transportation. You can stay in one unit five guests. Besides two bedrooms lights also belong to the cabin living room, bathroom and terrace, designed from a grid. The interior includes lighting by Ateljé Lyktan, who equipped the cabins with table and main lights. All include the ability to adjust the intensity of the light. You can see more about the project in the gallery below.
