Volkswagen presented an interesting concept called Sedric in Geneva. This heralds the brand's autonomous and electric future. In it, you will look for the steering wheel and pedals in vain, because it is a vehicle of the fifth level, i.e. the highest level of car autonomy, which allows the complete absence of a driver. The Germans want to reach this level by 2025.
Autonomous vehicle Volkswagen Sedric is the harbinger of strategy TOGETHER – Strategy 2025, with which he wants you German brand bring the autonomy of your vehicles to you fifth degree, which allows the complete absence of the driver.
Electric vehicle it is completely related to infrastructure (constant monitoring of the surroundings is provided by cameras and sensors, and electronics take care of the necessary reactions on the road), and the driver, who is no longer this, does not have to do anything. Just set the goal. Namely, the vehicle it has neither pedals, nor a gear lever, nor a steering wheel. Therefore, we will also be able to use the vehicle at this stage without a driver's license, because he will do everything for us.

The name Sedric is an abbreviation for Self-Driving Car (autonomous car). Because the future will be based on the sharing economy, therefore share vehicles, the Sedric design is very spacious. Seat benches they face each other, and it is intended for four passengers.
Sedric is also a kind of personal assistant who communicates through OLED screen, which replaced the windshield. He will know how to drop the kids off at school or pick someone up at a specific location.
