Nylons or pantyhose are not made to last. However, there is a trick that will make them last much longer than usual. In the meantime, the season of wearing pantyhose has already started, and to save you the discomfort and hassle when they tear on the first wear, we will release a simple trick that will make them last longer. If you read on now*, we'll tell you what to do when the inevitable happens and how to prevent further tearing.
Why do they give women pantyhose in the freezer and why do you bloody need this advice? Women do it because I pantyhose with it extend the lifespan (which will make them last twice as long), and you bloody need this advice because we know how frustrating it is when they tear at the most inopportune moment (clearly then you don't have spares with you). And what do you have to do if you want to have full pantyhose all fall? Freeze them overnight.

Just like food, the freezer also extends the lifespan of nylons, of course in a slightly different way. A only one freezing method is correct. Which one? Next time you buy new pantyhose (new ones are a requirement!), even before you put them on for the first time, put them under water, to moisten (extrude excess). Then put them in a plastic bag and leave them in the freezer overnight. Take them out the next day to thaw and dry at room temperature. And they are ready to wear. What is fun? Cold air strengthens nylon fibers, which consequently become more "resistant" to tears. Even though we are treating the causes, not the symptoms, you know that sooner or later that fateful moment will come. You start "fighting the fire". with transparent (!) nail polish. You apply a little of it to both ends of the hole, and that's it prevented further tearing. And even if you use the freezing method, we suggest that you always carry this "fire extinguisher" for holes in your purse, if you don't already have spare pantyhose there.
*anytime, actually ☺
