In Portorož, between September 15 and 20, the Festival of Slovenian Film will open its screens, and after the record number of registered films, it will immortalize its coming of age in a cinematic way.
18th birthday Festival of Slovenian Film also brings new records. The festival, which will take place between September 15 and 20 in Portorož on the Slovenian coast, as many as 146 films were registered, and after viewing and consideration, the committee included 97 films in the festival program, of which 16 feature-length films, 11 medium-length films and 70 short films.
Due to the wider film selection than before, the festival will be a day longer, and in five days the competition program and the fight for the eternal and other prizes will be diverted 63 movies, while 34 of them will be presented in the non-competitive program. On September 10, we will witness the opening of the festival, which will be marked by two study films Director Katarina Rešek's swimming and a feature film Bangs Deluxe by director Jan Cvitkovič.
In addition to the films, film lovers and film buffs will also be able to listen to conversations with the authors, as well as attend exhibitions and concerts, during which they will resonate Jardier; Make me a child, Bratko Bibič, Vasko Atanasovski Trio and The Jimmy Barka Experience.
