For a change, we have civil society and not the United Nations to thank for celebrating World Earth Day on April 22 every year, when activists around the world tell governments what needs to be done in the environmental field. Every vote in times of recession is somehow important, because even ecological projects have become its hostage. But the Earth is not waiting, sustainable measures should have been adopted yesterday. Too few people realize that we only borrowed the planet from our descendants and that it is not our property.
April 22 We are already celebrating 2015 45th World Earth Day, which we have been celebrating since 1970. 39 years later, the United Nations General Assembly declared it international earth day. World, international, it doesn't even matter, it's important that on this day, whose idea father is said to be John McConnell, who developed it at the UNESCO conference in San Francisco in 1969, and its founder, the then US senator Gaylord Nelson (1970), hears the voice of the Earth, which is conveyed to governments in a much more peaceful way activists, because we know that the Earth can honestly "rumble".

They say it could be easy 2015 was a turning point as for the care of the environment, as they will join forces economic growth and sustainable development. But there will also be a time when we, the people, lead and the politicians follow our example. Separation and responsible waste management, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, saving energy and drinking water, responsible treatment of nature, forests and animals that are our fellow residents, and last but not least, self-love, are all areas where we can on an individual level we contribute a lot. It is time to show respect to planet Earth, which is already here 4.57 billion years, while we humans are present in "everything" 200 thousand years. In such a short time, we "succeeded" in breaking the balance, which is the basis for life. Without a change in thinking, outlook on the world and values, without active action in the direction of sustainable development at the individual level, nothing good will be written for our descendants, so it is time for action.
