Attention, attention! This summer, Idrija will roar again. Jinx, Elvis Jackson, Gramophonedzie Live Experience, Uto Karem and BRO are coming to the Čipkarija festival, which will last from August 11 to 20, 2016 and is organized by the Idrija Students' Club.
21st Čipkari festival event, which will be this time in August, to be exact from 11 to 20 August 2016, will take place in different locations in Idrija and its surroundings. Last year, the Čipkarija project covered as many as 10 summer days and 12 venues in and around Idrija. As part of the festival, 17 events took place with many performers, which created a total of 7,500 minutes of programming and attracted more than 3,500 visitors. This year will not be so different.

The 500-year history of the city means a lot to young people, which is why they decided to connect this year's edition of the festival with Idrija's natural, technical and cultural attractions. With the festival, the organizers want to revive the old mine buildings, that's why the main venue The lace shop remains Kaiser Park. This used to be one of the entrances to the Idrija mine.
They will perform at the Friday electronics evening Karem Tuesday, Marina Karamarko, Urban Jeram and Lexa. Saturday is the day for the volleyball tournament, followed by the basketball and paintball tournament a day later. Sunday evening will be reggae. They will perform BRO and Good Vibrations. Monday will be dedicated to the presentation of local music groups, Tuesday will be enriched by skill workshops, a travel lecture and a zorbing football tournament. One of the festival days will be comically colored Lucija Čirović, Gašper Bergant and Mirza Tvrtković, in metallic colors Putrid Inbred, Valuk and Edge of Sins.
The festival will conclude on the last day Jinx, Elvis Jackson, Gramophonedzie Live Experience and John F. Doe.
