The school holidays have barely started, but like any pleasant period, it will be gone before you can blink. In the period when the scholars will once again venture behind the school desks, in addition to hard work, a large number of fun and exciting adventures await them. One of these is, for example, the international film festival, Film na oko, which is intended for children and young people. Film na oko 2016 will take place during Children's Week (September 30 - October 4) in as many as 11 locations throughout Slovenia.
In October, between weeks of the child, will be held children's and youth international film festival, Film on the eye 2016. This week, films from around the world will be presented, aimed at age groups from eight to eighteen years, but of course older generations will also be able to enjoy the screenings.
The organizers of the festival are with the film group, Night horizons, within which films with the theme will be rotated unspoken problems of growing up, paid special attention to high school students. In addition to numerous screenings, the festival will also take place film-educational and cultural and artistic activities. Young people will be able to compete in a competition within the framework of the competition and attended educational seminar.
The event will end onawarding the honorary award for the best film, which will be chosen by a jury of high school students. Since film is an art, and as such also a mirror of society and every viewer, in addition to education about film as an artistic industry, there will also be a great emphasis on encouraging young people to think, reflection and creation own opinion.

Film na oko 2016 will take place this time in 11 places across Slovenia - Ljubljana, Isolate, Longed for, Novi Gorizia, Idrija, Bishop Loki, Slovenian Bistrica, Krško, Ptuj, Maribor and Velenje. The festival program is still being prepared. The festival team invites all young people from the age of 14 who are interested in participating in the organization to join the team as volunteers.
