Fatal female vocals are following you this fall at Kino Šiška. Following in the footsteps of Cat Power and Anna von Hausswolff comes the Boston siren Marissa Nadler, who seduces with a dangerous soprano.
Marisa Nadler his mystical creation of the crucifix while experimenting with singer-songwriter and folk tradition on the one hand, and on the other, fatal inexorability doom threw and other radical expressions cultivated by her label Sacred Bones. V 12 years of creation has perfected her delicate reimagining of the American Gothic singer-songwriter form. On his seventh album Strangers (released in May 2016 on the Sacred Bones/Bella Union label) freed herself from all the creative limitations she had placed on her previous albums, stepped forward and created a truly monumental work.

As with the previous album July, the producer made a significant contribution to the sound image of the new album Randall Dunn, who is known for his work with the epic sound of bands such as Sunn O))), Earth, Black Mountain. This creative connection managed to conjure up the Strangers album magical dark world, emerging around Marissa's ethereal voice, stretched between cathartic omnipotence, the tragedy of transience and the beauty of vulnerability.
