This summer too, the Tolmin floor will shake to the sounds of major metal bands. MetalDays 2016 in Tolmin is expecting more than 60 bands this time, which will provide an unforgettable experience between July 24 and 30, 2016. During the event, visitors will be able to sleep in a popular campsite or rent a room, apartments or a house. At the venue, there is access to two beaches along the Soča River, where visitors will be able to rest and chase away the fatigue of the previous night.
MetalDays 2016 in Tolmin this time too, they promise a substantial list of performers: among others, they will perform Akron, At The Gates, Blind Guardian, Dead End, Blaze Of Sorrow, Dragonforce, Eruption ... The beginnings of the festival date back to 2004, when the Austrian company Rock The Nation and the Slovenian company Master of Metal joined forces and organized the first Metalcamp festival in Tolmin.

A few years later, the festival became so popular that ticket sales had to be limited due to the safety and quality of the event. In 2013, the organizers of the festival changed and the event was renamed MetalDays. The festival participates in the project Eco Initiative, which strives to preserve unspoilt nature. MetalDays is also part of the group Europe, which advocates for the greatest possible connection between European festivals and the establishment of high standards for the safety of participants. The festival will take place between July 24 and 30. Tickets for three days are available for 114 €, but five days must be deducted 135 €.
