In front of the gardens is the Okarina festival Bled 2016. The international music festival of ethnic music is the iron repertoire of summer events in Bled. Every year it attracts a colorful range of musical performers from all over the world, and this year will be no different, when Okarina will be held for the 26th time. It starts on July 26, 2016 and ends on August 7, 2016, during which time 14 foreign bands will take the stage and one Slovenian representative, namely the first lady of Slovenian poetry, singer and actress Svetlana Makarovič, who will present part of her collection of chansons.
Ocarina festival Bled 2016 will take place this year between July 26 and August 7, 2016. The sounds of fifteen artists from different parts of the world (Egypt, Hungary, Sweden, USA, Algeria, France, Turkey...) this year bring fresh trends in jazz and world music, and their tunes will resonate with Bled Castle and coastal promenade.

The Okarina ethno festival has a long tradition in Bled. The first festival took place a long time ago in 1991. Since then, over 240 local and foreign bands and individuals from all continents have performed on it. Even after all these years, the program manager remains the father of the festival Leo Ličof, he will take care of the organization Bled Institute of Culture.
