tipoRenesansa, the only specialized letterpress printing studio in Slovenia, is celebrating its fifth anniversary. On the occasion of its fifth anniversary, the studio, whose founder is the calligrapher and designer Marko Drpić, will present a series of hand-stitched notebooks printed with decades-old clichés from its own collection, a series of special blocks and a series of graphics on the theme "5".
typeRenaissance was founded in 2010 graphic design studio, they lead it Marko Drpic and Maja Licul. Their mission revolves around a different approach to the design and production of printed materials with a large degree of inclusion of old skills - among other things, they cultivate the skill hand carving letters and calligraphy, but they certainly stand out the most because of their studio-arranged printing letterpress workshop.
It's a workshop accessible to the public, it is visited by lovers of beauty, among them many designers, professors, mayors, as well as television crews filming reports and documentaries.

The tipoRenesanse team regularly organizes, among other things workshops for different age groups and difficulty levels. A labyrinth workshop is available to preschool children in which they try to find letters, while primary and secondary school children design and print their own poster or note cover, and art students perform more demanding ones in the workshop typographic tasks.
Studio tipoRenesansa will open its doors on Friday, December 4 at 10 o'clock, at 7 p.m but it will start evening program with music, feasting and socializing. The series will be presented in the studio hand-stitched notes printed with decades-old clichés from our own collection, a series of special blocks and a series of graphics on the theme "5". The motifs for the latter will be created by five invited designers: Tomato Basketr, Radovan Jenka, Nejc Prah, Oleg Shuran and collective UAUU.
