On October 25 and 26, the center and surroundings of the city of Ljubljana will be brimming with sports enthusiasm. On Volkswagen's Ljubljana Marathon our children will run on Saturday, and all fearless runners on Sunday. In order to keep up to date with what is happening, let's check the exact program below.
Saturday, October 25
- 11:00 a.m. – Lumpi run for preschool children (year 2009 and younger) at 200 m
- 12.00 – Promotional school run for OPP at 600 m
- 16.00 – School marathon for secondary school students 4100 m
- 17.00 – FUN RUN at 4100 m
- 18.00 – OPENING OF THE MARATHON – Economic Exhibition Center (Pillar Hall)
Adults run on SundaySunday, October 26
- 8:00 a.m. – performance of the percussion group MACHINERY
- 8.30 – START 10,000 m run
- 10:00 a.m. – performance of the percussion group MACHINERY
- 10.15 - greeting of the mayor Mr. Zoran Janković
- 10.20 – START PARAPLEGIC (wheelchair, handbike) MARATHON 42,195 m
- 10.30 – MARATHON START 42,195 m
