The Golden Fox 2016 is getting closer, and Alpine skiers will apply for the Golden Fox title on January 30 (VSL) and 31 (SL) 2016. The Slovenian skiing holiday under Pohorje will pass without Tina Maza this time (but only in a competitive sense, as she will be on the track as an expert commentator), which is no reason for us to lack reasons to cheer, as the rest of the Slovenian girls this year showed excellent performances in technical disciplines, so at the 52nd Zlata Lisica we can also hope for top rankings of domestic competitors. As always, in addition to skiing under Pohorje, it will also be lively along the track. The complete program of the 52nd Golden Foxes is published below.
Already 52. The golden fox will take place 30 and 31 January 2016, and the caravan of the white circus will stop below the Mariborski Pohorje a little earlier, as the public draw of start numbers awaits the skiers already on January 29, 2016. Tina Maze, our main trump card of recent years, will then be in the role of expert commentator, this year's point reading, and especially the performances of our girls in technical disciplines (Ana Drev was close to a giant slalom victory) but they are the best possible invitation to Pohorje. The snow shipment has arrived, we can only hope that the temperatures will be cold enough throughout the month to keep it. Otherwise, we are used to working miracles in Maribor.

Will the title golden foxes (this belongs to the competitor who completes all four runs the fastest on Pohorje) fences Mikaela Shiffrin, is not yet known. At first it seemed not, because Shiffrin, who won the slalom here last year, suffered a serious injury some time ago, but there is still hope that she will return right at the Golden Fox 2016. But she will certainly not defend the giant slalom victory Anna Fenninger, whose injury just before the start of the season cost her her entire salary season 2015/16.
