The film Solace should be a sequel to the film Seven (Se7en, 1995), a cult crime film by David Fincher, in which Morgan Freeman is expected to return from retirement as Detective Somerset. That project died, and Solace then became more like the original Seven than a sequel. The film stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Abbie Cornish and Colin Farrell in addition to psychic Anthony Hopkins, who returned to the suicide business and replaced Freeman in the hunt for a serial killer.
Solace is a mystery thriller by the director Afonso Poyarto, which was recorded back in 2013, but has spent most of its time in a drawer until today. Nevertheless, the film cannot be written off just like that. Last but not least, it features a bunch hardened gaming cats, who know how to raise even an average film to a higher level. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is currently being proven in the TV series Living Dead, about "Hannibal" Anthony Hopkins no need to waste words, Colin Farrell but is usually the best in the role of the villain.

Dean Morgan plays Joe Merriwether in the film, a special agent of the US Bureau of Investigation FBI, who together with colleague Katherine Cowles (Abbie Cornish: Unlocked, RoboCop) joins forces with the visionary Hopkins as Dr. John Clancy, who joins the hunt for a serial killer (Farrell) who turns out to be just like him clairvoyant.
