A film inspired by the story of Amanda Knox, The Face of an Angel is based on the book Angel Face: Sex, Murder and the Inside Story of Amanda Knox by an American journalist living in Rome, Barbie Latz Nadeau, which was adapted into a screenplay for director Michael Winterbottom by Paul Viragh. The celluloid adaptation of the book is only loosely based on the true case of Meredith Kercher's murder, and stars Kate Beckinsale, Daniel Brühl and Cara Delevingne.
The Face of an Angel (Faces of an Angel) is British a psychological thriller, which is loosely based on the murder of British student Meredith Kercher in 2007. The film, however, focuses not on the trio from the real-life case, but on journalist Simone Ford (Kate Beckinsale, Underworld) and filmmaker Thomas (Daniel Brühl, The Race of Life), which are surrounded by the story of Amanda Knox, an American student and her boyfriend Raffael Sollecito, who were accused of murdering the aforementioned roommate.The film also does not judge and share justice, but rather talks about the loss of a daughter, why it happened violence more attractive than love and shows the stories of people who have made a difference TV lemonade.

Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina) plays the girl Thomas is in love with in the film, and she portrayed Amanda Knox Genevieve Gaunt (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban).
