He films us often convince, that unicorns are real and that humans have explored much more than just our solar system. Usually these unreal events are explained within logic and within the laws of our universe. Despite this, there are quite a few movie scenes that in us raise doubts. Even some of the best movies have content holes - some minor ones that are easier to ignore, while others are hard to forget and can basically ruin our movie watching experience. So which ones are there? 10+ content holes in popular movies, which should not be ignored?
Armageddon (1998)
It would be much easier to teach astronauts to drill than to try to turn drillers into astronauts. When Ben Affleck pointed this out, director Michael Bay told him to shut up.
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)
Lara's goal is to destroy an ancient artifact before the Illuminati use it for evil purposes. After successfully finding the first half of the artifact, he spends a huge amount of time trying to find the second half. If he already has one part, and if they can't work without each other, why doesn't he destroy the part of the artifact he has, rendering the other part useless?
Toy Story (1995)
If Buzz doesn't believe he's a toy and thinks he's a real space jean, then why would he freeze around people like other toys do?
Gravity (2013)
When Kowalski asks Stone to let him go because the rope won't hold the both of them, it could never really happen since they are both in the same orbit. A simple short pull would bring him back to her.
The Da Vinci Code (2006)
The code combination for the capsule would not need to be known in order to open it. Vinegar freezes easily in a regular freezer. Just freezing the capsule and breaking it open could reveal a hidden message.
The Hangover (2009)
Every square inch (with the exception of restrooms, guest rooms, and employee locker rooms) in the Nevada casino is covered by surveillance cameras. There's no way Dough could be on the roof for two days without someone noticing him and sending security to prevent him from doing something stupid or even trying to commit suicide.
Ant-Man (2015)
Ant-Man keeps repeating that his mass doesn't change when miniaturized. This means that no group of ants (crawling or flying) could carry it.
What We Do in the Shadows (2014)
About 10 minutes into the movie, the vampires are drawing each other to show each other what they look like in their clothes, since they can't see their reflection in the mirror. And while vampires wouldn't really see each other, their clothes would.
Cinderella (2015)
The fairy says that Cinderella's fairytale fades after midnight. When Cinderella runs away from the dance, all the magical objects change back to their original form (horses into mice, carriage into pumpkin, beautiful dress into mother's dress, servants into lizards). There is no reason for magical shoes to remain glass.
Man of Steel (2013)
Superman is indestructible in the presence of the Sun, so how can he shave? In some scenes he appears with a beard, in others freshly shaved. No earthly razor would destroy his beard.
The Maze Runner (2014)
During the "we've tried everything" dialogue, Newt states that they can't climb to the top because the ivy doesn't go that high. In several shots of the maze, it is clearly visible that the ivy winds all the way to the top.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, 2011)
In a flashback to when Robaus Raws and Lily were children, Lily is shown with brown eyes. This is incorrect as everyone describes Lily as having the same eye color as Harry, which are blue in the film.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
The entire police force is trapped underground (Why would so many cops go underground anyway?) and Batman rescues them a few months later. When they are rescued, they are all freshly shaved, unharmed and somehow alive…
Signs (2002)
At the end, it is revealed that the Aliens are supposedly afraid of water or being hurt by it, yet at the beginning of the film they are running through a dew-covered cornfield in Pennsylvania at night.
Frozen (2013)
At Elsa's coronation, it is revealed that Ana was inside the palace the entire time the palace doors were closed, even though the only reason they were closed at all was to prevent news of Elsa's superpowers from leaving the palace . Ana could go out and live a normal life without worry.
Wonder Woman (2017)
As Diana flees the gala on horseback back to the village, the blue dress is torn from her body to reveal her Wonder Woman costume. So if she were to wear this costume under her dress even at a gala event, it would be easy to see peeking from under her dress, as the dress has a neckline much lower than her costume.
