When you start to realize in life that you have just enough of everything, you become truly rich.
Do you feel like you're not good enough, or that you'll never be enough? Remember - you already are. You are enough. Here are some reminders that will convince you of this!
1. Your scars are your story
Scars, whether physical or emotional, are your testimony that you are and that you live. They are proof of how strong you were and how you fought your way through life. These scars are enough to prove that you matter.
2. No one will ever be like you
People can belittle you, make you feel unworthy and incapable, but they can never be like you. They can't cover the footprint you left in the sand because it will never be the same because it's only yours.
They can try to dim your light, but they can never extinguish it. You are here because of the unique qualities you possess. And, if being enough means being different from everyone else, then you are enough.
3. You can always try again
Errors are just minor setbacks. They are reminders to help you refocus and evaluate your life.
They are like speed bumps to wake you up or slow you down a bit, to warn you that you are going a little too fast than life intends to let you. Despite your failures, remember that you can always try again.
4. You are enough for those who love you
You are always enough for people who truly see your worth. No matter what you've been through or what you'll be going through in the future, these people will always see you as a gem.
They will appreciate you and make you feel safe and loved when you feel like you are not enough.
5. You are capable
Remember, you didn't go through all hell for free. You are able to survive; you are capable of making things happen.
There will be times when you forget how strong you really are until it's the only choice you have. That's ok, just make sure you remember it then.
6. Everything takes time
The best things always happen at the right time. You cannot force your hurts and wounds to heal while they are still fresh.
Everything takes time. Healing takes time. Success takes time.
Just because the universe wants you to wait doesn't mean you're not enough. It's just preparing you for bigger things.
7. Negative "what if" they will only make you sad
Change yours "what if" into something positive.
"What if it makes me happy?"
"What if I become successful?"
"What if I succeed this time?"
"What if I did the right thing?"
"What if everything turns out okay in the end?"
8. Work on yourself first
Before you take care of things you can't control, work on yourself first. You feel like you'll never be enough because you don't love yourself enough.
The only way to reduce self-doubt is to love the person in the mirror and accept that that person makes mistakes too.
9. Loss of people/things is actually your win
You often feel like you are not enough when you lose something that is precious to you. But losing something is actually beneficial. Imagine having more space for people or things that are permanent.
Imagine giving them all your attention and love that you previously gave to those who were only in our lives temporarily.
10. You're still here
Last but not least, remember that you are still here. Despite all the storms that have passed - you are still here.
You're still breathing.
You are still fighting.
