In addition to knowledge and experience, a high-quality helmet is certainly the most important thing for the safety of a motorcyclist. This is certainly the case with Nolan's N90, which is new this season. The helmet is made of injected Lexan polycarbonate and is UV resistant. As with all helmets from this Italian manufacturer, the face part opens along an elliptical disc, which lowers the helmet's center of gravity and reduces the strain on the neck. Its upholstery is made of a special material Climate Comfort and it is removable and washable, which further contributes to comfortable years of use. Its ventilation is ensured by a special system of vents and channels that ensure optimal air circulation. The helmet also has built-in anti-noise and anti-wind protection and is ready for installation of Nolan's N-Com communication system. In specialized motorcycle shops - you can find their list on the website of the importer www.compaco.si - it is available in sizes from XXS to XXL. Speaking of sizing, let's note that the helmet should be similar to the right size shoes. This is exactly why helmets should be bought in motorcycle shops, where dealers will be able to advise you. The first step in finding the right size is to measure the circumference of your head with a tape measure at eyebrow height. The read value - for example, 52 cm means size XXS - gives us quite accurate information about which size will be right for us. But just like with shoes, the differences in helmets are hidden in the details, which is why some dealers (Compaco for sure) also allow test rides before purchase. And this: before we go on a motorcycle with a new helmet, we wear it at home for an hour or so. If something presses or hurts, this is a sign that the helmet (its size or shape) does not suit us. A good dealer will exchange it for you for a suitable one.
