They say that a healthy body requires a bicycle. They also agree with this in Maribor's Europark, where this year they are preparing again. We will gather in front of Europark on Saturday, May 25, from 9 am. This sports and entertainment event for all generations will be the 11th in a row, and it will take the participants through the colorful Styrian landscape. All participants will also compete for attractive prizes, the main one of which is an electric bicycle.
Our well-known BMX rider and skier will take care of even more varied and interesting events at the start-finish area Filip Flisar.
Three routes of varying difficulty
Everyone can choose a cycling test according to their needs: family route will be 12 km long, plain extends to 41 km, active at 68 km. Before the start of bigger challenges, all cycling fans are invited to an undemanding "marathon" for all generations. Management and all necessary technical assistance will be organized. The youngest cyclists are waiting for a ride on children's cycling training ground, which can also be attended by those with tricycles, mopeds and unicycles. A good atmosphere will be provided with an accompanying program, everything related to cycling will be available at bicycle and bicycle equipment fair, and in Hervis they will also take care of fair discount on the purchase of bicycles.
Charitable: we cycle for ourselves and for others
As every year, the event of the largest shopping center in northeastern Slovenia will also be colored by charity this time. "We will donate the funds collected from the registration fees to the HUMANITARČEK society. In society, they selflessly help people in need with their actions, so we will gladly hand over the donation to good people who believe in a better tomorrow." she said center manager Simona Mandl, who also likes to ride a bike herself. "After the kilometers cycled, refreshments, music and pleasant socializing will be provided. Many people will also be able to take home an attractive and useful prize, and the main prize will be an electric bicycle." he adds.

Applications are open until Thursday, May 23, 2019. The completed application form must be handed in at the Europark information office. In case of rain, the alternative day for the cycling marathon will be Sunday, May 26, 2019.
